In order to make the export, import and transit system compatible with modern requirements for international trade, 23 national institutions including FBR, Customs, Maritime, IT, National Food Security have been linked to the Pakistan Single Window. Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif is keenly interested in the operations of the Pakistan Single Window and will inaugurate the Prime Minister Port Community System in Karachi next month. There is no deputy messenger or driver in the Pakistan Single Window institution. This institution consisting of 250 people is working through a teamwork. Syed Aftab Haider, CEO of Pakistan Single Window, provided details about the performance and achievements of the Pakistan Single Window to media representatives on Wednesday. He said that basically, the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is working as a platform that is supporting Pakistan Customs and trade-related institutions in devising a new system for better and more transparent functioning.
